Notre Dame University in partnership with the United Nations Information Center (Manila) is
responsible for promoting greater public understanding of a support for the aims and activities of
the United Nations by disseminating information on the work of the Organization to people
everywhere, especially in developing countries, UNICs serve as the local focal point in their
countries for public information about the United Nations.

UNIC collections is housed and found at the ground floor of the St. Eugene de Mazenod
Library building at the World Bank-KDC. UNIC collections / materials are non-circulating. The
network of UNICs is key to the Organization’s ability to reach the people which the
Organization serves around the world, and to share the United Nations story with them.
